Local Business Unit Manager for Geo Information
Our client is an international company acting in the field of satellite services and application, with presence in Romania through a local company. For this client we are searching for a candidate that can take in charge the managing of the local Geo Information Business Unit. The Local Business Unit Manager operates under the direct functional coordination of the Centralized Business Unit at Group level. Main task of the Local Business Unit Manager will be to commercially promote the Group products & services portfolio, developing the Romanian market of Satellite Services & Applications related to Geo Information.
Among the available products - services we mention:
- Satellite raw images (optical and radar)
- Civil application (territory management, agriculture,environment, emergency situations, construction, oil&gas)
- Security applications (border management, sea monitoring)
- Large international projects, financed by international organizations (Space Agencies, EU, World Bank, etc)
Cerinte:
COMMERCIAL BACKGROUND:
The Candidate must have a 3-5 years experience in commercial activities in Romania in the Geo Information area.
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:
The commercial profile must be based on a strong technical background, developed through at least 5 years experience in technical departments for image processing and application development.
It is requested
- a deep knowledge of the main application and services which can be provided using aerial and-or satellite images.
- a deep knowledge of the main software application related to Geo Information.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
English: very good (read, write, speak)
COMPUTER SKILLS
Good knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office
